Great bullet for the 40 S&W over a variety of powders. Hodgdon starting load data with the 5 or so powders I've tried provides exceptional accuracy and flawless reliability. However, this bullet over Alliant Red Dot, 3.4gr and 1.125" COAL is the sweetest shooting load I've ever used for this caliber in a variety of guns. Overall, it's gotta be the bullet, buy with confidence!

I use this for 10mm loads. RIA 10 mm 1911. 8.5 grains of Bludot is moderate and accurate at 25 meters w iron sights of 1911, against 12 inch steel plate.
