I bought these, the 300 grain and the 500 grain bullets to use in my 1884 Trapdoor, I have always gotten very high impacts at 100 and 175 yards. This bullet seems to be the best when adjusting the powder charge to lower the impact. I have used Black Powder, 777, Pyrodex and Trapdoor loads with 2400. The Pyrodex with this bullet seems to work the best. I have hit 4 or 5 inch groups pretty regularly and only about a foot high at 100 yards. The bullets are very uniform in weight and as expected high quality. Highly recommend them!
