I purchased these for shooting in modern .44 specials like the Ruger new model Blackhawk flat top and a Ruger GP100. This bullet gives a lot of value for the dollar, has been accurate and I've had minimal leading at the forcing cone. I limit the GP100 to standard pressure 44 special load data because of its' ridiculously thin forcing cone at the 6 o'clock position. That being said the following info is for a reference only and was safe in my guns only, your milage may very so I'm not responsible for your mistakes. .44 240gr SWC BB, .431" / CCI 300 primer / Starline brass. Ruger Blackhawk flat top 5.5" barrel 25 yd target. Tite group 4.6 gr AV 775fps 2" grp. Tite group 4.8 gr AV 813fps 2"grp. CFE pistol 6 gr AV 820fps 2" grp. CFE pistol 6.5 gr AV 850fps 2.5" grp, groups got terrible above this charge. HS-6 8.5 gr AV 842fps 1.5" grp. HS-6 9 gr AV 884fps 2 1/8" grp, (Jeff Quinns load) a bit dirty in my guns. Skeeter load of unique 7.5 gr AV 1014fps 2" grp. power pistol 8 gr AV 936fps at 48F more accurate than I am, 1/2" grp at 15yds free handed. power pistol 8 gr AV 974fps at 80F more accurate than I am, sub 2" and my favorite load. Just an idea of what to expect, I shot better groups with most above but this is an average for me. Again, these where safe in my guns, just a reference don't duplicate.

This is a great bullet for 44 Magnum and the weight and style I like best for 44 Magnum. They are extremely accurate with Blue Dot , 2400 or W296 powder, I stay in the mid 1300 fps and they work well at that speed. I shoot them out of one of the following S&W 629 Classic Power Port, S&W 629 Performance Center and a Taurus Raging Bull 8.5 inch barrel. All 3 guns shoot them extremely well and definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for a great bullet for 44 Magnum.
